I'm Arnau Vendrell. I'm passionate about decision psychology.
From a very young age, I have been interested in behavioral psychology. However, I studied nuclear engineering due to external pressures that I didn't feel capable of contradicting. In my second year of college, I started pursuing a jazz degree in parallel (I needed to express myself ❤️).
My story with the entrepreneurship world is causal. After finishing my studies, I was offered a job at an investment fund in the UK (€300k/year base)... but what can I say... We're not here for the money 🤷.
I quit two other jobs. In retrospect, the only job I haven't quit was my first job as a street sweeper (I even keep the first payslip from that one).
Instead of the investment fund, I chose India as a backpacker. What a gift to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama in person and Álvaro Peña, my best friend and the best partner I could have worked with.
Inseparable, we have fought against everything: DDoS attacks, scaling businesses above a million euros, managing nearly a billion users, winning lawsuits against one of the largest companies in Chile, etc.
I suppose my story is that of a wanderer. That of the flâneur who is passionate about getting his hands dirty and, to the extent possible, contributing his grain of sand and doing it through marketing, with his own funds and applying all his knowledge about product design and user psychology.
